Reminds me of a conversation I recently had with a woman who brings her very young, very active child to church every Sunday, and all the difficult logistics that entails; but she told me that she realized if she didn’t do that, her child would not grow up with that same sense of the church community and tradition as a real presence in life, that this young woman had had. (Husband/father also comes when he can, but usually has to work on Sundays.)
