@lmika @jayeless this article and your excellent points made me laugh out loud! NorthAmerican annoyances and natural hazards I have personally experienced/lived through: tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards,rattlesnakes, a volcano eruption, bears, scorpions, fire ants (ouch, seriously), Lyme disease (tick bites). One of my cousins survived a lightning strike and immediately got the family nickname “Sparky.” I dunno… I guess I’m getting old… and of course, lucky 😸editing to add, my sister and her family got helicopter out after a flood, and I still have the exact moves for a shoe- shake down after living in an area with scorpions, edited further, I forgot about the alligators that lived near my mother-in-law’s place, edited to further add, OMG I just remembered that my mother was bitten by a brown recluse spider and that was quite the medical adventure, maybe we should all move to Australia😹
